I liked to think I had a pretty good ‘feel’ for what horses in my company were thinking, feeling and trying to tell me. After my incredible and inspirational first full week of my Equine Massage career course, I realise that, in fact, I was fairly oblivious to the majority of the information our horses are ever-hopeful of communicating with us. I very much doubt I will ever be capable of observing or riding a horse again without the automatic tuning in and analysing of these cues- it’s going to be mentally exhausting!

Whilst I am faced with an enormous learning curve looming over my next 14 months of training and studying, I am so pleased to confirm that, after 37 years of searching, I have finally discovered ‘what I would like to be when I grow up’… 😉
