A pony-mad child and horse-obsessed teenager, I worked for years as a stable-hand, both paid and unpaid, and felt like I was home. The awe and privilege I felt to spend time around these most powerful yet gentle animals never wavered, but my life path took me in a different direction.

A Psychology Degree, Postgraduate Certificate in Education and several careers within business and education later, and somehow I’m still struggling to recognise my calling.

My passion for horses was reignited over a decade ago as soon as finances and circumstances allowed, and has been a regular and utterly fulfilling leisure pursuit ever since, shaping my lifestyle and identity. Never have I considered that this passion could possibly cross over into my professional life…until now.

I have no certainty or expectation as to where the end point may be, but this unfamiliar feeling of excitement, motivation and determination for this learning journey tells me it just might be the right path at last.
